Sweet Milk Pancakes

Sweet Milk Pancakes

My grandmother used to make these pancakes for me when I was little and now my mom makes them for my kids. She got the recipe from her grandma who had it passed down to her too. I love this little tradition and I'm sure I will make them for my grand kids.
My kids love these so much that they beg me to make them for me all the time but I always say "only Grammy can make them."

Sweet Milk Pancakes
2 eggs
2 T flour
4 T milk
Butter
Sugar
Mix eggs, flour and milk well. Heat large skillet and coat with butter. Pour batter into pan.
When edges start to curl and pancake seems about 80 percent done flip them over and cook the other side. Top with butter and sprinkle with sugar.
This recipe makes one very large pancake.

These are made very similar to crepes, for more info on making crepes check out Jamie's tutorial on making & freezing crepes.

Here are some more pictures from our vacation so far.

It has been such a good time with my mom.  The kids are having a blast getting to spend time with her.
