April was a month of up and downs for all of us and found us at times not feeling our best. But it was also a time to celebrate as Jamie turned the big 30!!! And since she enjoyed teasing me in March, it was fun to pick back at her. But honestly, I am so thankful to have her as a friend.
Your continued support has been a great blessing to us and we are so grateful to have wonderful readers, commenters, and visitors of our blog.
Ok, time to recap!
I'm so glad that so many of you enjoyed this post and found it helpful. To be honest, I asked Jamie a day or two before posting if it was even worth sharing. So I especially loved reading all your comments. Big thanks to Mom's Library and Share it Saturday for featuring this post.

Fresh Strawberry Muffins and Make a Memory Book |
Two great ones from Jamie. Technically the strawberry muffins are from March but they really took on Pinterest in April and had so many views, I just had to include them. I tried them out and they were very, very yummy.
In her Memory Book post, Jamie shares how to easily cover a notebook for a memory book for your children or a journal for yourself. Check it out and make ones for yourself or your kids.
Kerry's Favorite:
I'm pretty sure this is Kerry's favorite because of her adorable nieces and nephew that make appearances in this post. This is a great and simple craft that can be used to buy you a few minutes of project time.
Jamie's Favorite:
Breakfast Bites and Versatile Muffins |
As you may have noticed in March's Top 5 and this post, we seem to have trouble picking just 5. And so Jamie has two favorites this month and they are both breakfast goodies. I guess she was a little hungry when picking. If you need a new breakfast, brunch or snack treat, try out one of these.
My (Lucy's) Favorite:
In Honor of West, TX: Sausage & Fruit Kolaches |
I love kolaches!! When Kerry used to live in central Texas, we used to get them every time I came to visit. I have already put in my order for her to make these when I come visit in July, but I may have to break down and make them myself.
But more importantly, I'm glad for the reminder to continue to pray for West. It's easy to let the town slip from our thoughts as it's not in the news as much, but it will take this town a long time to rebuild and heal. So please continue to pray for West as we will continue to pray for the community.

I'm excited for May and I'm sure it will be a very busy month. {If you need a meal plan for the month, Kerry has provided a great one: Menu for May.} Mother's Day is coming up (check out our Mother's Day posts: Mother's Day Gift Tags and Button Flowers) and we are in the middle of baseball season at my house. We hope all of you have a wonderful and blessed May.
